Service Description

Turn your imagination into a collection! In our flagship "Fashion Runway Production" program, students step into the shoes of professional designers to create their own looks for the big stage. This session is all about transformation and high-energy creativity. Using sewing machines and guided by a team of expert instructors and fashion designers, students will learn to "re-fashion" clothing—turning old dresses into new amazing looks, plain pants into art pieces, creating custom accessories and jewelry. The Grand Finale: The session culminates in our professional Spring Fashion Show at CCAD on May 17th, where every student will walk the runway in their own original designs! Design Your Way: Students are welcome to bring "base" pieces from home to transform, but it’s not required. We will provide pieces from our archive so students have their textile base to build on. Skill Level: All levels are welcome! We provide the sewing machines, professional materials, and support for both machine work and hand-sewn details. All-Inclusive Fee: The $250 enrollment covers all specialized design materials, trims, and the "Student Production Fee" for the professional runway student experience on 5/17.
