Student Participation in the Walk-A-Thon
Your child will be coming home with a Walk-A-Thon fundraising flyer.
Students are encouraged to collect pledges in any amount (from family, friends, neighbors, etc.) for laps they walk on the Tremont turf field on 10/10.
Donations can be collected in their envelope or online via the link here.
Donating Raffle Prizes
Each class will be collecting items to make a “classroom raffle basket” to be raffled at Fall Fest. Your room parent will be in touch with more information on how to donate to your class basket.
Buying Raffle Tickets
$1 raffle tickets for the classroom baskets will be available for purchase before and after school at both main entry doors the week of Fall Fest.

Walk + Roll THURSDAYS starts September 25th!
Walk + Roll is a Tremont tradition promoting walking and biking safely to school.
Every student that rides a bike, scoots or walks to school on Thursdays from September 25th - October 23rd will receive a hole punch in their punch card.
Please ensure your students’ name and teacher name are written on the card!
Six parent volunteers are needed each Thursday to manage the three main entrances.
For every hole punch, the PTO donates $.05 to World Bicycle Relief, which provides people in rural communities around the globe bicycles to realize their goals by expanding opportunities to access education, health facilities and other vital services.
At the conclusion of the fall session, students will turn in their punch cards to the volunteers for total number of hole punches to be counted for donation purposes.
Additionally, the class with the most hole punches will earn a "Wear a Hat to School" Day!

WALKING CLUB IS BACK - Volunteers Needed!
Walking Club is held Tuesdays & Thursdays during lunch recess blocks from 10:55-12:30 at the Tremont Turf Field.
A minimum of four parent volunteers are needed to run Walking Club each week (2 each day).
Participating students will be given a card with their name and teacher’s name.
For every 8, 16 and 20 laps around the turf students complete, they receive a charm for their bracelets.
This is a wonderful, active outlet for all students to participate in during their lunch recess. Encourage your child to participate.
Sign up here for any Tuesday or Thursday, dates begin October 9th and run through November 25th.
CAFETERIA VOLUNTEERS - Parent volunteers needed!
October is a few weeks away, but you can start booking your time to volunteer in the cafeteria now! Time commitment is 11 am - 12:30 pm. It’s a great way to see your kids and an easy way to support the school.
Ideally, four volunteers each day help the cafeteria support run smoothly and even though it’s a few weeks away, you can start to sign up now! :) It’s a great way to see your kids and help out at the school.
Timing is 11:00 am - 12:30 pm each day school is in session.
