Programs

Each year the PTO helps to provide planning, support, volunteers and funding for many events and activities at Tremont. Learn more about the many exciting events and activates offered throughout the year!

Book Fair - The annual book fair helps raise funds to support our school media center/library and provides the students with a fun opportunity to preview and purchase books individually or as a family on our family shop night.

Cake Bingo - Cake bingo is a free to attend family event in the winter for our Tremont lions. Families are encouraged to make or purchase cakes, enter our cake contest and attend cake bingo night, where you can enjoy pizza, bingo, and prizes for everyone!

MultiCultural Night - Multicultural night is free a family event held in the Tremont gym. Families are encouraged to set up tables to display and teach others about their families traditions and heritage. Local restaurants and Tremont families provide samples of diverse foods; and students are encouraged to participate in the annual talent show.

Dine and Donate - This is a mini fundraiser that occurs multiple times throughout the year. Tremont PTO partners with local businesses to receive a portion of proceeds on a designated night from Tremont family purchases.
Fall Festival - The Fall Festival is a free family event that follows our Walk-a-thon fundraiser. It is held in the evening on the school grounds and includes: food trucks, carnival games, prizes, a cotton candy machine, inflatables, and the popular classroom gift basket raffle! Each class works to provide a curated gift basket to raffle off at this event.

Walk-a-thon - Our annual Walk-a-thon is one of two large fundraisers of the year, and is held in the fall. Students are provided envelopes and encouraged to gather donations from friends, families, and local businesses; and families are able to watch their students run laps during the school day at the Walk-a-thon!

Tremont Auction & Social - The Tremont Auction & Social is our second and final large fundraiser of the school year and is held in February.

  • The Online Auction is made up of packages from local area businesses, individual donors, special teacher experiences, classroom art projects, and UA sports camps. The auction runs Monday through Thursday with all bidding taking place online!

  • The Tremont Social ends the week, and is the adult only event held on Friday in the evening! This parents night out is held out a nearby venue and includes music, drinks, apps, games, incredible door prizes, and more! Tickets are available online prior to the event and also at the door. This is the event of the year and not to be missed!

Spelling Bee - The spelling provides an opportunity for our second and third graders as well as our fourth and fifth graders to participate and compete against fellow Tremont Lions and potentially advance to the next level of competition!

Walk and Roll - Walk and Roll is held in the fall and again in the spring, and encourages kids to ride or bike to school each Thursday. Students receive a punch on their card for each day that they walk or bike and the PTO makes a charitable donation for each punch earned. The class with the most punches at the end of each session wins a special prize!

Recess Walking Club - Recess walking club is a great way to volunteer and see your students during the school day! This program operates Tue/Th  in the fall and the spring, weather permitting, and provides students with something fun and active to do on their lunch recess. Volunteers set up a checkpoint station and help students by tracking their laps around the turf field and giving them prizes after achieving their lap goals. This is a great way to get involved and see your children during the school day, while still being outside!

Cafeteria - Parents can volunteer to work the cafeteria any day of the week, and are responsible for helping students, and clearing and cleaning lunch tables.

Frosty’s Funhouse - This is a fun volunteer opportunity leading up to winter break. The gym is transformed into a fun and active space for students to get their energy out during the winter. Parents can sign up to volunteer during their children’s time slot.

Field Day - Field Day is held at the end of the school year and students are able to experience fun outdoor games. obstacles and inflatables. Parents are needed to volunteer and work this event!

4th Grade Gallery Hop - Fourth grade students create and display artwork for a gallery night for friends and family.

5th Grade Activities - Fifth grade students begin their year with a special breakfast class photo, and party and end their year with a special sendoff event full of memories of their time at Tremont.

After School Enrichment - The After School Enrichment (ASE) program provides additional opportunities for our students to expand their interests and learning with specialized program offerings after school in the fall, winter and spring. You can sign up for these classes on the PTO website, which run from 3 to 4 PM, Tuesday through Thursday.
