Tremont no longer hosts After School Enrichment on-site. In place of this change we have offered our previous partners the opportunity to share their offerings with our school community.

Beginner & Intermediate Chess
The Jones Chess Academy
Students learn the rules and concepts of chess, tournament procedures and etiquette, and the knowledge to participate in casual or competitive games.
The perfect class for new or novice players seeking more confidence in their play.
The first half of each class, student will learn world champion openings, ideas in the middle game, end game patterns, tactical moves, and elements are examined and discussed. During the second half, participants play against each other in friendly matches.
K - 8th Grade
Session 1: 09/29-10/27; Session 2: 11/17 - 12/15/26
Location:
Bob Crane Community Center; Event Center C
$145 (Resident) per session.
Registration closes September 29.
